Resolved Question: I need help findng something.. Please it’s REALLY important to me and my sister Amber…?
Ok so me and my sister Amber have wanted a Siberian Husky puppy since we were little babies and knew what the breed looked like and what it was called. Well we actually found a couple who’s siberian huskies just had a litter of 5. The couple wanted $375 for them becuase they were doing a project for their house to remodel it so we talked to our mom she said it was okay that we got her.(the puppy) if we came up with the money for gas and to pay for the puppy. We called them and told them which one we wanted and they said “ok we’ll hold this puppy for you and your sister until you can get down here and pay a little bit of money so we will take it off the for sale list.” But they live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma almost near Edmond, like maybe 10 minutes away. We called last weekend and said hey you know we have some money we will get our cousin to take us there so we can pay for the puppy they were already 3 weeks old so 3 more weeks til we could go get her and take her home. Well this past sunday 3/8/09 I called and said we’ll be there to pay for her as soon as our cousin gets here cuz we had almost $100. The guy says “we sold the dog you wanted there is only two left the white female and the black and white male.” After me and my sister heard him say that we just started bawling and crying because we just fell in love with that puppy. So we told our mom and she said they had no right to do that to us they didnt keep their promise to us. They were greedy for money cuz other people payed all the money up front and thats why we didnt get our puppy we wanted. So we just forgot about those people. If anyone knows of anyone else that has a female siberian husky puppy for a low price like under $200 near Purcell, Oklahoma cuz we like in Purcell, we’ll take it. Please help. I know this isn’t a question but we need help…. Please. If you know of anyone please comment, answer whatever you call it. Please. This means everything to us too.

Resolved Question: What would be a good title for this novel?
I’m writing this short novel about a boy who has cerebral palsy. He lives in Oklahoma County along an old dirt road in the north. Alex Kale(the boy) is 7 years old and has to wear a steel brace on his right leg. He didn’t have many friends because he could never keep up with the other kids in the area. His best friend Nathaniel Kinley moved to Phoenix, Arizona 2 months ago. Now a new family is moving in next door and they have a girl his age, Samantha ‘Sam’ McLaughlin. They quickly become good friends and do everything together. Sam also has trouble walking becuase of Rickets. One day on his way home from school, Alex saw a farmer nailing to a post, a sign that said ‘Puppies for Sale.’ Alex slwoly walked up to the older man and gave a slight tug on his overalls. Mr. Cooper, the farmer turned around and smiled at the young boy. He asked, ‘Could I help you young man?’ Alex replies, ‘Yes, I’d like to buy one of your puppies’ the farmer says that they would be too much for a young boy to afford. Alex pulls 39 cents out of his pocket and asks if it was enough just to see them. Mr. Cooper says sure and calls Dolly the mother. Four little balls of fur come running after her. Alex then saw a remarkably smaller pup sliding down the ramp and runnin awkwardly trying to keep up with the others. Alex says to the farmer that he wanted the runt. Mr. Cooper says that he won’t want the runt it will never be able to keep up with young boy while running. Alex turns to the man rolls up his right pantleg, ‘You see sir, I don’t run too well myself and he needs someone who can understand.’ With that the farmer picked up the pup and handed it to the little boy. Alex asks ‘How much do I owe you sir?’ Mr. Cooper replies with tears in his eyes, ‘No charge, there is no charge for love.’ They boy goes home with his new dog and ends up naming him Skip. Alex, Sam and Skip Go for daily runs through the fields ond along the dirt roads. 5 years later Alex becomes very sick, and is bed-bound. For a year Skip stayed by Alex’s bed keeping watch over him until one night Alex quietly slipped away from life with Skip right by his side. And in the morning Alex’s mother finds Skip on the ground beside Alex’s bed, dead. Skip dies because he did what he needtp do in life and that was to make Alex Kale happy as long as he lived, and now with Alex gone, Skip has finished his duties.

My boyfriend has the opportunity to play pro basketball in both of these cities…I’m from California (SanFrancisco Bay Area). What is there to do in both these cities. He does not think its a good buy but I am having a structural engineer come out to inspect the home. FYI I have not met any realtor in Oklahoma who thinks buying a REO property is a wise decision.

Resolved Question: Advice on a custody dispute.?
I’ve been divorced for about 2 years now. My ex husband has custody. I didn’t have a lawyer in the divorce and pretty much got screwed. The way the custody arrangement is written I get the children (who are 4 and 6) in the summer and for a week over X-Mas break. My ex and I live in different states, he in California and myself in Idaho. We got divorced in Oklahoma.

It’s written that if I don’t ask for extra time before May 1st, I only get 42 days in the summer with them. This year at the end of December, as I was filling out my leave for the year, I asked my ex if I could have the boys from June 13 until August 4th. He refused that and we finally agreed that I could have them until July 31st. I sent him an email confirming the dates so that its in writing.

He and his new wife are trying to buy a house. The car that I drive and pay for is in his name. With the car on his credit his debt to income ratio is too high for the house. Supposedly his realtor is asking for bank statements showing that I’m the one paying for the car. I refuse to give 11 months of bank statements to my ex or a complete stranger. Which I feel is in my right.

Now he’s saying that since I won’t work with him, he’s not going to work with me and is only allowing me to have the boys for 42 days. Which can start June 13th if I like. Can he do that?

I feel that I must also add that it states in the custody arrangement that I’m to get every Wednesday and every other weekend with them, which I’m obviosly not getting now that we live so far apart. He failed to get the custody arrangement changed before he left Oklahoma and my lawyer failed to get the paperwork filed before he left the state.

It’s become more then obvious lately that he’s using the boys to control me. I’ll go weeks without being able to speak to them because neither he or his wife will answer the phone or call me back. Then when I do get to talk to them my oldest will ask me why I didn’t want to talk to him. My ex will threaten to “revoke” my rights to the children on the basis that I’m not paying child support (which I am. I haven’t missed a payment yet and kind of want him to file a false report). He makes a lot of empty threats in general on the rare occasions that I do speak with him.

I want to get full custody of the boys, or at least modify it so that I get more time with them. I don’t think living with him is in the best interest of the kids. I’ve had people suggest that I have health and welfare do a check of his house, but I’m not sure who in California I’m supposed to call. I also know I’m supposed to get a California lawyer to represent me, but I can’t afford a lawyer. What should my next step be?

Resolved Question: I’m in need of business advice?!?
Wanting to go into business for myself either in St.Louis, Oklahoma CIty, or Honolulu area. (Have family in these areas) I’m wanting to open a bar/grill something along those lines. Any advice, tips, good realtors, locations anything?

Resolved Question: House loan questions?
My husband and I are thinking of buying a house. We go tonight to sign the purchase contract. My question is, our realtor agent told us we were approved for our loan, my husband spoke to the loan agent on the phone. Has anyone been approved this way? I asked if we were pre approved or pre qualified, the agent said we were approved and that he isnt allowed to write up a contract until the buyers have been approved. He said tonight we will go over the contract, give him the earnest money, then we have to see if the seller accepts our offer, if so then we go see the mortage company, and then finish the paper work. He said it usually takes 3-4 weeks. Why do we need to go to the mortage company if my husband was approved over the phone? Do they need to see him sign papers, or will they run another credit report and such. I have heard of people saying their loan fell through at the last minute. I dont want to get my hope up on a house then have the loan fall through. Im really confused, I know I can ask my realtor tonight…but im just curious now. Also we live in oklahoma if it matters
